SERVICE
A service is done on every reel that comes through our shop. A service is a deep cleaning and lubrication. We use nothing but the best products.
A Reel service includes:
Cal's grease on drag washers
Spool Hispeed oil on bearings
Yamalube on all other internal moving parts
As you can see, we don't make the reel look pretty and send it back! We clean and inspect every screw, washer, and bearing!
FULL DRAG
Full drag is an option you need when your targeting them trophy monster catfish!
Full drag includes:
Carbon fiber drag washers from Smooth Drag.
Lapped flat & polished metal washers for incredibly smooth drag performance with increased pressure & range.​
TUNE
The tune is the entry level option for better speed and drag performance.
A tune includes:
carbon drags from Smooth Drag
1 set of Spool Hispeed ceramic bearings.
CATFISH SPECIAL
The Catfish special is a great option to take your factory reel to the next level!
Catfish Special includes:
A new power handle from Abu.
Full Drag job
1 set of bearings
SUPERTUNE
Supertune in the highest option for speed and distance casting. Becareful not to cast across the river with this one!
Supertune includes:
6-8 Spool Hispeed ceramic bearings
carbon fiber drags from smooth Drag
We polish all moving parts for maximum speed!

ABOUT PIPELINE TACKLE
Pipeline Tackle was started from brothers that have a background in fishing the banks of Wheeler Lake and saw a need in the industry for trophy catfish services. We are a tackle company dedicated to the catfish angler supplying the tackle needed to land the blue pigs and monster flatheads! We also are a reel service shop that specialize in customizing, repairing, and tuning Ambassador and Penn reels.
